Tropical Storm Isaias Rips Off Roofs, Causes Other Damage In Ocean City, Maryland

OCEAN CITY, Md. (WJZ) — Tuesday morning started off with a beautiful sunrise in Ocean City, Maryland, but within several hours the winds whipped up and the water got very choppy.

Tropical Storm Isaias was downgraded from a hurricane Tuesday morning, but the winds continued to be a problem as it moved through the state.

Several tornadoes were reported in parts of Wicomico County.

Although some people were seen walking along the beach before the storm arrived, people stayed out of the water. Rip currents will be an issue at least until Wednesday.

Several videos showed wind-swept rain coming down in Ocean City Tuesday morning.
